Bing Down (For the count)?
Interesting. Got home from a long day at work, was trying to do a quick search on Bing (After all, we’d like to think that there is a new competitor for Google to take seriously)… and… and… and… Nothing.
Can’t say I remember Google or Yahoo just being down. Not exactly the type of tech snafu you’d like to see from someone who put $100 million in an ad budget.
Not a good sign. I think they will be okay though. Probably working the bugs out.
Google mail went down a couple of weeks ago for a couple of hours which
generated a TON of Twitter turmoil but I didn’t see peep about this
Bing outage, so I wonder how many are using Bing anyways?
Bing did go down and still hasn’t recovered but this allows for a lot of smaller companies to show them how it is done. We really need to rid the world of silly, pathetic and sometimes down right rude linking systems for page rank.
Yes the irony isn’t lost on me – but the reason behind why it works this way is.
I almost never use bing!
