Well we all knew that it would happen at some point. We just didn’t expect it to happen like this. But what’s Twitter gonna do with all this money?
Could this be true? And more importantly, is this finally the move to turn YouTube into a profitable operation? Google invested over $1.6 billion in the video streaming site almost three years ago, but the hugely successful parent company has made no secret of its troubles turning YouTube into a profitable venture. Now, tied in with the fact that they just re-kick-started the somewhat encouraging Partnership Program, YouTube looks to be right on the cusp of making a dollar.
